The Royers lock of the future : protected by a self-closing flood barrier made in Schoten

To protect the Royers lock from flooding, water barrier specialist Aggéres from Schoten will install floating flood barriers measuring 340 meters on either side of the lock platform. This will be the largest installation of autonomous flood barriers in the world!
